There is something about you that is too different. Too sensitive. Too cautious. Too curious. Too quiet.
You will never find your footing. You will never find your place. You will always be second guessing. You will always be scared.
You will never fulfill your potential. You will never act on your passions.
You will be too scared to follow your dreams.
You are hardly sure what your dreams are anymore, because it’s been so long since you entertained them. You can barely remember what they used to be. You don’t know how to imagine any new dreams. If you did, you sure as hell don’t have the guts or ambition or know-how to pursue them. You don’t even know how to talk about them with other people.
So you’re sensitive and empathetic, so what? So you can write, so what? So you love to learn, love to listen, so what?
All your talents and gifts and skills haven’t gotten you very far in life, why would you expect them to help you in the next stage? Why do you believe there could even be a different, better, “next stage”?
What if this is all there is for you?
You will always wonder what you held yourself back from.
You are too scared to fail. You are too scared to succeed.
You are afraid.
You are afraid and you always will be.
